Introduction

The Incident module is designed to simplify the creation, management, sharing, and storage of incident reports.

This feature ensures that all essential incident details are captured precisely and efficiently, improving internal communication, reducing response times, and maintaining a well-organized repository of incident records for future reference.


Key features of the module are

  • Report creation: Create a report based on the data entered. Reports should have the client’s logo and specific format shared 
  • Preview: Click on the record to preview the incident details 
  • Sharing Options: Email integration to send reports to stakeholders 
  • Download Formats: Ability to download reports in: 
    • PDF
    • CSV
  • File Uploads

Users can upload supporting documents, such as images, maps, and driver licenses, which will be attached to the incident report. 

Creating Incidents

To create a new Incident, go to More Apps, then Incidents.

At the top right, click Add Incident

A window will appear where you can enter the incident details. Fill in all the required information, then click Next and Save.

The detail include

  • Vehicle Details: Structured input for vehicle and trip details (e.g. Reg No, Trip number) 
  • Incident Type: Dropdown selection (e.g., Minor, Major, Accident) 
  • Date and Time of Occurrence: Calendar and time picker 
  • Location: Text field for address or description 
  • Incident Description: Multi-line text input for detailed narrative 
  • Weather Conditions: Dropdown or text input 
  • Driving Speed: Numeric input field (in km/h) 
  • Driver Details: Structured input for driver name, vehicle ID, and trip number 
  • Human Injuries: Checkbox (None/Yes) with expandable input for comments if yes 
  • Incident Synopsis: Multi-line text input for detailed narrative 
  • Incident Summary: Multi-line text input for detailed narrative 
  • Actions Taken: Multiline text input to document immediate and planned actions (e.g., towing, police reports, repair schedules) 

Searching Incidents

You can search for incidents using the search bar located at the top left of the grid.

Exporting Incidents

Additionally, you can export incidents to a CSV file using the export feature at the top right
